Furniture Acquisition, The Reading Nook Progresses, and Randomness

Our latest garage sale / estate sale find. This will look great in the den. It is hard to find stuff in really good condition - particularly the cushions but this piece is nearly immaculate.

The reading nook is coming along now with a bookshelf. We will fill it up at some point soon.

Our latest print that K picked up at a craft fair. The fair was in an indoor pavilion that advertised that the first 50 people through the gate got a free gift. K was sure we would get one - maybe two - but when we got there 20 minutes early and the line wrapped around the building we realized: No free gift for us today. We left the fair rather quickly as there were too many people and baby strollers inside. You literally couldn't browse or look at anything. But we got what we wanted.

My birthday card print from K.

Birthday cake - coconut: the ONLY type of cake there is!

K's favorite print.

K's latest craft creation for the reading nook.

With a zipper no less!!

I am struggling with....

.... new technology.

New haircut / studio shot.

The Pumpkin Village - advertised as the only one in the world.

Some random city shots

I don't know why but I really like this as a photograph.
